This Privacy Policy explains how MovidaOps collects, uses, and protects information when you and your team use the Service. If you are an employee using MovidaOps, your employer controls your workspace data; direct data requests to them first.

1. Information we collect

Account & workspace data — business name, company code, contact email, and staff records your manager enters (names, roles, pay rates, schedules).
Time & location data — clock-in / clock-out events and, where enabled, the GPS coordinates captured at the moment of a punch.
Operational data — checkpoints, incident logs, tips, menu/86 status, and reports created in the app.
Technical data — device, browser, and log information needed to run and secure the Service.

About GPS. Location is used only to stamp a punch with where it happened, at the time of the punch — MovidaOps does not continuously track employees or record location in the background. Employers are responsible for notifying staff and obtaining any consent their jurisdiction requires before enabling GPS punches.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide scheduling, timekeeping, payroll calculations, tip splitting, and reporting; to secure and support the Service; and to comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.

3. Sharing

Within your workspace — data is visible to authorized managers and, as appropriate, the individual employee it concerns.
Service providers — vetted vendors (e.g. hosting, payment processing) that process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations. [List actual processors here.]
Legal — where required by law or to protect rights and safety.

4. Data retention & security

We retain Customer Data for as long as your workspace is active and as needed for legal and operational purposes, then delete or anonymize it. We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Your choices & rights

You may access, correct, export, or request deletion of workspace data through your manager or by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (for example under Illinois BIPA, the CCPA/CPRA, or the GDPR). 6. Children

The Service is for workforce management and is not directed to children under 16.
